The year 2020 was incredibly challenging for the world. An unexpected pandemic brought numerous changes in our daily lives, pushing us to reevaluate our habits and procedures.

In ALUMIL, from the very beginning of COVID-19 outbreak, we focused on the safety and health of our employees and supported society to the struggle against the virus. Most of all, we remained true to our values, focusing on our goals with dedication and persistence. Thus, 2020 brought to us plenty of happy moments. The international presence of our company was enhanced, while the development of high-quality products remained the spearhead of our activities. Furthermore, we launched ALUMIL Academy, the first private school for aluminium fabricators in Greece, contributing effectively to the growth of our industry and training the new and older generation of fabricators.

In addition, as a leading company, we embrace our responsibility for a positive contribution to the society. Therefore, we intensified our Corporate Social Responsibility actions, triggering initiatives that improve the living conditions and become a valuable relief for people who need it most. Lastly, the year ended on a high, with an event that made us proud: we organized ArXellence 2, ALUMIL’s international architecture ideas competition, asking from the global architectural community to submit ideas about the redevelopment of western coastal area in Thessaloniki, Greece.
