SMARTIA M7 Structural | Inner Glass Variants

SMARTIA M7 structural system can now offer 3 different variants concerning the inner glass of the IGU. We now have options for 6mmm, 8mm and 12mm width of inner glass.

In order to achieve this, we are using 3 different glass holders:

720-10-968-00 for 6mm inner glass
720-10-969-00 for 8mm inner glass
720-10-970-00 for 12mm inner glass

New profile for rolling shutters

We would like to inform you that ALUMIL has developed a new profile, 303031, which is placed at the bottom of the rolling shutter, clicked on the terminal profile, to increase its overall mechanical performance.

This profile co-operates only with 35009 terminal profile and significantly enhances the shutter sturdiness and wind load resistance. The profile is accompanied by a pair of plastic caps, EX- 7653030100, as below. Both profiles and the corresponding caps are available for order.

Standard lengths

Furthermore, there has been a change in the standard length of two slats, meaning that M1011(77mm) and 303028 (55mm) slats are now available in 6.6m standard length.

Bi-folding door SF85 | New certificate

We have a new certificate for our SF85 bi-folding door, 3+0 typology. We have managed to increase the water tightness to 9A (600Pa) adding a subsil. Attached you can find the first page the test.

Fly screen typology for S650

Profiles and accessories are available. Note that in order for the typology to function properly, you must not use reinforced interlocking profiles where the fly screen is placed. For example, if the fly screen is placed on the outside track, you can only use reinforced interlock profile in the inner part of the section and vice versa. For heights more than 2.4m, a special corner cleat can be used (145-11-260-00), which creates a tension on the vertical profiles of the fly screen in order to keep the fly mesh stretched at all times. The specific corner which is patented should be used in combination with a steel rod, which will bend at the opposite direction of the deflection created due to the tension of the fly mesh, thus keeping the vertical fly screen profiles straight. This tension is created by a screw into the corner. By screwing, the rod will bend, and thus we can adjust the vertical alignment of the profiles. SUPREME S650 | New 3 track joint profiles

We have developed 2 new triple_track profiles for S650. The new track profiles are joint together with 3 sets of polyamides, thus offering a single profile code for the 3 track typology. Up until today, the 3 track profile was only feasible by joining together 3 different profiles. Now, we can have only one profile code for these tracks.

Note: The total width of these profiles is 250mm, so cutting can only be done with appropriate saw, able to cut this profile dimension. Fabricators can explore the possibility of cutting these profiles according to their saw machines.
