ALUMIL LEAD Program: Empowering Future Leaders Through Education

In today’s fast-paced and ever-evolving business landscape, investing in the continuous education and development of employees is not only a strategic advantage but also an essential element of corporate responsibility.  

Committed to fostering our employees’ lifelong learning and growth, we organised, in cooperation with the Institute of Industrial and Business Education & Training (IVEPE-SEV), a tailor-made educational program called L.E.A.D. (Leadership, Excellence And Development), aimed at nurturing our High-Potential (HiPo) employees and empowering them to become future leaders.  

Held at our facilities in the Industrial Area of Kilkis, the L.E.A.D. program spanned from January to June 2023, providing 133 hours of intensive training for a cohort of 12 HiPo employees who embraced this transformative opportunity to reskill, upskill and excel in their professional journeys.  

The LEAD program encompassed a diverse range of topics and equipped our employees with the skills and knowledge required to excel in their future roles.  

The following are the specific fields in which our employees have received training: 

Leadership: Exploration of various leadership styles, enhancement of decision-making abilities, and new ways to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving collective goals.  

Project Management: Insights into effective project planning, execution, monitoring and management, ensuring timely project delivery.  

Stress and Time Management: Valuable techniques to optimise efficiency, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain a healthy work-life balance, ensuring productivity and well-being. 

Business Ethics and Ownership: The importance of ethical decision-making, ownership and accountability to long-term success. 

Communication and Human Resources Management: Development of interpersonal and interdepartmental communication skills and fundamental knowledge of human resources management. 

Health and Safety: Identification and mitigation of potential risks, fostering a safe and well-being-oriented work environment. 

Teamwork and Collaboration: The importance of effective teamwork and skills to lead and contribute to high-performing teams. 

5S System and Lean Manufacturing: New ways to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and optimise productivity through the renowned 5S System and Lean Manufacturing principles. 

Risk and Crisis Management: Development of the necessary skills to identify, assess, and proactively mitigate risks, as well as handle unexpected crises to ensure business continuity. 

By prioritizing the constant growth and development of our team through personalized training programs like L.E.A.D., we ensure that our people are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to face new challenges and take a leading role in achieving our goals and beyond.
