The golden skyscraper "Lighthouse Tower" in Tel Aviv chose ALUMIL
The skyscraper "Lighthouse Tower" is another creation of the renowned architect Ilan Pivko, in the city of Tel Aviv in Israel, in the suburb Bat Yam. Its characteristic feature is its "golden" fenestration with glazing that incorporates a special filter providing an impressive golden hue. The construction of the project began in 2016 and is the main part of the Park Hayam neighbourhood development plan, which includes the upgrading of the coastal area surrounding the building with the creation of parks, restaurants, cafes and bars.
Once the project is completed in early 2021, it will be an impressive skyscraper of private residences with a height of 167 meters, 50 floors and 194 apartments, including also a hotel. Its residents will enjoy the unique view of the coastal front of the area, as well as several amenities, such as pool and gym facilities.
ALUMIL undertook this unique project thanks to the elegance and the high performance of its architectural aluminium systems. In particular, the new advanced sliding & lifting sliding system SMARTIA M45000 was chosen in its lifting sliding version with double-sash typology which is ideal for large dimensions (e.g. width 4 m and height 3 m). SMARTIA M45000 is certified for high-performance levels regarding water tightness, air permeability, and resistance against wind load. The system is an excellent solution for very large openings, characterized by the ease of installation and the very high wind load resistance.
