At the Ernst & Young event of the “Entrepreneur of the Year” competition, the President and CEO of ALUMIL was awarded for his international presence and the company’s global performance throughout the years.

The awards ceremony of  Ernst & Young’s Greece “Entrepreneur of the Year” competition was a grand celebration of remarkable and innovative entrepreneurship. During the night, some of the most meritorious figures of Greece’s business environment were honored for their contributions.

The President and CEO of ALUMIL Group, Mr. Georgios Milonas, received the award in the “Internationally Growing Entrepreneur” category. Mr. Milonas counts almost four decades in the aluminium industry and 34 years at the helm of ALUMIL. In this “journey,” he has been guided by his instinct of extroversion, making bold decisions. This business philosophy brought considerable success to his company both on the domestic and international scene.

In his emotional speech, Mr. Milonas looked back on his career while stressing the fact that, all these years, he has dealt a lot with global economic and geopolitical crises: “In my life, my experience has taught me that you have to deal with crises in a calm way and with a clear mind. You should not let crises panic and overwhelm you. Most importantly, if you have by your side your wife, your sister and your three young sons, who have joined the company in the last few years, bringing their energy, passion and vision, then… impossible is nothing!”
