Strengthening international ties: Leading construction companies from Mumbai visit Alumil
We recently had the honour of hosting 40 distinguished owners and engineers from some of Mumbai, India's most significant construction companies. This visit marked an important milestone in strengthening the relationships between India and Greece, fostering new business opportunities, and showcasing our cutting-edge production facilities and extensive range of innovative products and services.
The visit commenced with a warm welcome ceremony, graced by the presence of the Ambassador of India, Mr. RudrendraTandon, and the Consul of India, Mr. Ioannis Bellas. Following this, the delegation embarked on a comprehensive tour of our factoryin the Kilkis Industrial Area. During the tour, our guests were given an in-depth look at the meticulous production processes that ensure the highest quality of our aluminium products. They learned about our investment in circular aluminiumproduction, particularly the creation of Loop 60, one of the few certified aluminium options worldwide for architectural profiles, contributing to 95% less energy consumption and 76%fewer carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
The visit continued at our offices in Thessaloniki, where our guests delved deeper into our diverse product offerings and activities. A significant highlight of this segment was the introduction to the Architectural Aluminium Academy, a cornerstone of our commitment to continuous education and excellence, which plays a crucial role in training both new and existing fabricators and engineers, ensuring they are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to excel in the industry.
This visit provided a platform for cultural and professional exchangeand laid the groundwork for potential collaborationsthat could drive growth and innovation in the construction sector.
