Residence in Euboea

This modern residence overlooking the Gulf of Euboea impresses with its triangular shape, the contemporary architectural approach and the harmonious coexistence of the interior and exterior environment. 

The Tense Architecture Network has done the architectural design of the project. All the interior spaces of the residence - designed with minimal, straight lines - are developed around the perimeter of the atrium, which constitutes the inner courtyard. Reinforced concrete was used for the construction, painted in an earthy shade (it remains uncoated on ceilings and walls), which gives the building its distinctive minimal character.  

The interior of the house receives plenty of natural light. The wide spans of the patio doors, where lift & slide and hinged aluminium systems of high quality and performance were installed, play a crucial part. Thus, they contribute to the integration of indoor and outdoor spaces and offer a fantastic view both to the courtyard with the swimming pool (also made of exposed concrete) and to the sea.
