ALUMIL, a group with years of experience and continuous development in the field of design, development, production and marketing of aluminum systems for architectural and industrial uses, realizes and recognizes that uncontrolled economic growth does not keep pace with the progress and welfare of the community as a hole.

This can happen only when the friendliness of the production processes towards the environment, the prevention and reduction of pollution, the preservation of energy, natural resources and consumables, the search and development of alternative and renewable energy sources and for the least possible negative environmental impact is ensured through goals, pre-planned and organized actions and using tools for sustainable environmental management.

This philosophy, according to the policy of sustainable development, has resulted to the administration's decision to establish, implement and certify the 2002 Environmental Management System, based on the international prototype EN ISO 14001:1996 for the extrusion, electrostatic paint, paint mimicking wood and insulation profile production sectors, and further on, upgrade the certification based on the improved edition of the prototype EN ISO 14001:2004 of the year 2005. 

The following principle and intention statement entails the Environmental Policy of the company, and aims to specify the frame for the development and implementation of the Environmental Management System.
