Advanced PV mounting structures for rooftops by ALUMIL Solar

One of the advanced products of ALUMIL Solar is the self-ballasted mounting structure SOLFIE, which assures easy, fast and cost efficient installation of photovoltaic panels on building rooftops. This specific mounting system was designed so as to integrate one landscape PV panel with a 10-degree inclination for increased performance.
Recently, a PV-project of 600KW with the system SOLFIE was completed successfully at the city Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. In total, 1.953 photovoltaic panels were installed on the rooftop of the premises of the company “BAR KOD”, transforming its building into a small, sustainable “power plant”!
Specifically, the photovoltaic panels were installed on the rooftop by using concrete blocks, so as to support the panels without the need to drill the roof, thus avoiding roof perforation and protecting completely the rooftop’s insulation.
