Located in Çeşme, Turkey, the modern residence Mamurbaba Evi was designed by BAGO Mimarlık through a refined and restrained architectural approach that connects bold geometry with the natural surroundings. Set on a 1,400 m² plot, the 500 m² residence is organized into two main intersecting volumes positioned parallel to the road. The composition takes advantage of the north-facing sea views while creating a controlled sense of privacy within the densely built environment. 

A defining feature of the design is the extensive use of glazed surfaces, which strengthens the relationship between interior and exterior spaces. The wide openings, which are covered with sliding aluminium windows, allow natural light to enter the living areas while maintaining visual continuity towards the landscape and a fluid spatial connection between the different zones.  

The material palette remains minimal, combining white plaster, black aluminium frames (both hinged and sliding), and natural timber cladding to create a calm and balanced atmosphere. Lastly, it is worth noting that the entrance to the house is dominated by the impressive aluminium pivot door, which completes the design and highlights the house’s distinctive character.
