"The main element of this unique "cave" (ed. for “Ncaved House”) was the large, framed view of the sea to the east and the interior atriums to the west, unifying all the interiors with the landscape. ALUMIL's minimal aluminium systems helped us to achieve exactly this purpose. Hotel Ambassador
Back in 1968, a landmark building was constructed in the Serbian city of Nis. It is the iconic Hotel Ambassador. In 2019, the reconstruction of the hotel was completed, marking a new chapter in its modern history.
Τhe architectural firm Alterno INC was responsible for the design of the "new" Hotel Ambassador. According to the architects of the firm, the exterior of the building was slightly changed, contrary to the interior, which underwent drastic interventions in order to be compliant with the modern requirements of accommodation of this kind.
A cautious approach was followed with respect to the building's previous history and without pompous design details. The curtain wall system and the reflective glass that equipped the facade served the original concept to the fullest, bringing modern style and high performance. The 5-star hotel has 70 rooms and 12 suites and offers a magnificent view of the old town. In addition, the visitor will also find - among others - a conference floor with two halls, a modern gym, SPA, steam room, sauna, VIP, lounge bar, and a restaurant, all of which uniquely complete it, providing comfort and top services.
