Α “subsystem” has been developed to facilitate a window wall installation of systems S67-S77-S91. This “subsystem” comprises of some extra profiles on top and bottom of the window, so that our existing windows in S67, S77 and S91 can be installed in a window wall method.

Window wall installation is very popular in the US, Australia and the UK, because it provides an easier and faster installation of window units, which cover a very large area of a wall. The window wall “subsystem” is first installed in the opening of the wall. The window units, which are S67, S77 or S91 windows, are fabricated as usual and installed into the window wall “subsystem” next to each other, using special joint profiles which can absorb the lateral movements of the units. The window wall “subsystem” provides a big tolerance for slab deflections and thermal expansions of the units, as well as seismic loads, hence it is ideal for high length glass facades between floors.
