Riviera Tower: Greece’s tallest building rises with advanced ALUMIL systems
Our company is participating in the most significant project currently under construction in Greece, the Riviera Tower at The Ellinikon. Construction is progressing rapidly, and the tower is now rising prominently along Poseidonos Avenue, having surpassed the 30th floor and steadily moving toward its full height of 50 storeys.
Upon completion, Riviera Tower will be the tallest building in Greece and the tallest residential skyscraper in the Mediterranean. The project is set to become a landmark of sustainable design. ALUMIL contributes decisively to this goal, as our systems are produced in accordance with the principles of the circular economy.
The selected aluminium systems to be installed at Riviera Tower deliver high energy efficiency, meeting the strict LEED specifications and the enhanced requirements of the Greek Energy Performance Regulation (KENAK) for energy class A++. Our systems’ thermal insulation properties significantly reduce energy consumption while improving the building’s overall performance. At the same time, they offer superior acoustic performance, ensuring low noise levels within the apartments and creating a calm, and comfortable living environment.
ALUMIL systems at Riviera Tower
The project includes the installation of advanced, energy-efficient ALUMIL systems for balcony doors and apartment windows, curtain wall systems for the façade, as well as railing and cladding systems.
It is worth noting that all systems have undergone the pre-anodizing process at our state-of-the-art facilities, a special surface treatment we have offered for over a decade. ALUMIL was the first company in Greece to introduce this capability to the market, demonstrating our technological leadership. Pre-anodizing combines the advantages of anodizing and powder coating, delivering enhanced durability. In the case of Riviera Tower, this treatment was selected due to the building’s close proximity to the sea.Innovation at the core
